The "Ghost Army" was the unofficial name for the 23rd Headquarters Special Troops, a top-secret U.S. Army unit in World War II that used elaborate illusions to deceive German forces about the size and location of Allied armies. Composed of artists, engineers, and soldiers, they employed tactics like inflatable tanks, fake radio traffic, sound effects, and phony headquarters to divert enemy attention and save lives, conducting over 20 deceptions before their work was declassified in 1996.  Double-sided flag for indoor and outdoor use.
