We live and work near enough to the training areas that after designing the patches, we started getting a lot of requests for full sized flags. After working with a lot of vendors stateside that weren't very cooperative and didn't seem interested, we ended up doing a two part flag design. We have one place that prints the material and another place that finishes the stitching.
This process gives the higher quality you would expect by having all the corners box sewn double the amount you get from standard flags. The Pineland flags are UV coated and should give long life when hanging outdoors - of course that depends if you have 50 mph winds every week but the flag we used for initial testing is still hanging out front in the wind, rain and almost constant sun during the day.
On another note we also get feedback about people wanting to keep 'Pineland and Robin Sage a secret'. When you do a search for Green Beret training it basically spells everything out - we don't advertise the event details nor do we go into detail about the length, locations or anything else that would be considered OPSEC or even having a CLASSIFICATION.
Many of the flag purchases are from the members of the groups that support the event directly... so next time you're driving through, take a look at the houses and flagpoles to see who they support.
